From 2024, the event will continue annually under the new R16 organization. The 2024 R16 World Finals will be held at the Suwon Convention Center (www.scc.or.kr/en) on August 17-18, 2024. Participation registration page : wdf2024.mice.link Unlike the previous R16 format, the 2024 R16 World Finals will be held as an open battle in which anyone from around the world can participate. Any country can compete in the World Finals preliminary round. 16 teams (solo, crew) will be selected through the preliminary round. However, participants from China, Hong Kong, India, and Southeast Asia will go through regional preliminary rounds to select teams for the World Finals. The 2024 R16 World Finals will change from a competition held in the concert format to a competition focused on battle. 첫 번째 R16 행사는 2007년 서울에서 열렸습니다. 2024년부터 새로운 R16조직 하에서 매년 계속됩니다. 2024 R16 월드파이널은 2024년 8월 17~18일 수원컨벤션센터에서 개최됩니다. 2024 R16 월드파이널은 기존 R16형식과 달리 전 세계 누구나 참여할 수 있는 오픈 대회로 진행됩니다. 단 중국, 홍콩, 인도, 동남아시아 참가자들은 지역별 예선을 거쳐 월드파이널에 진출할 팀을 선발하게 됩니다. 또한 2024 R16 월드 파이널은 기존 콘서트 형식의 대회가 아닌 배틀 중심의 대회로 개최합니다.
